Beyond Ideas of Right and Wrong

Beyond Ideas of Right and Wrong
Photo Description:
This piece was made for a project named ‘identity’. It explores how people can be defined by their thoughts and memories that are both good and bad hence the reason why I included both positive and dark imagery (e.g. the sun and the helicopter). It was made using numerous techniques including watercolour, acrylic, pencil, and digital painting and was pieced together using Photoshop. I also made a point of not including the character’s eyes or ears showing how they can be blinded by their own thoughts that then warps the view inside of them. The use of colour also makes a point of the colour of the mind and imagination that can make real-life more exciting and surreal.
