Glitch - 7

Glitch - 7
Photo Description:
There are times when we feel like we are not ourselves, when we feel like a part of us is missing or like an important part of us cannot be expressed as freely as we want it to be that leaves us feeling very constricted in the things we want and need to do. We feel that others would not understand what we want to tell them as much as we want to. This causes us to hide a part of ourselves even from the people we love. Our desire to let them know and our fear of doing so blends with one another, and suddenly the things that we are able to do with no difficulty, are now things that we have a hard time doing hence we experience a ‘glitch in the system’. The more we experience this ‘glitch’, the longer we get anxious of the future. We begin to look past the present to seek for security in it, however the future has a vast number of possibilities and instead of getting the feeling of security, we just get more anxious. I hope for people to be able to relate with the themes I am exploring with my work. I want them to feel that they are not alone and that there are other people who might be feeling the same way as they are. Even for the people who cannot relate with my work, I want them to be able to understand that there are people who feel this way and be able to be there for them when they need it because right now those people are very vulnerable. They will need to have someone to depend on, a shoulder to cry on, and ears to be lent.
