These Streets
Photo Description:
This is an interpretation of Leonid Afremov's 'Rainy √Čtude' I adapted the painting to focus on a couple as the object of the scene to reveal a story behind the acrylic. I altered some colours for a deeper meaning. For example the pavement beneath the lovers is red and yellow to signify joy and love, the other people are flooded with greens and blue showing jealousy, impurity and sadness. Aswell as this the couple has a bold red umbrella and the marginalised people have faded or dull umbrellas.
