Photo Description:
This sculpture is a realistic representation of a pig lying on its back with its torso cut open. The internal organs have been made clearly visible showing the rib cage, heart and intestines. This, eerily, gives a human side to this animal. Created out of Mod Roc and wire mesh there is a high attention to detail, including wrinkles in the pig’s skin, which has been emphasised by a range of tones.
