Art is the answer

Art is the answer
Photo Description:
This piece is about conflict and the dilemma that we face, even though there is a simple solution... Art. I was mainly inspired by Bob and Roberta Smith's work which claimed 'make art not war'. The reason why this made me consider this problem was because the word war was very bold and that is why I chose violence as I feel that I am not confident enough to be as truthful and inspiring as others. However, that was not all, I love the way words are art as it shows that art is everywhere including other subjects therefore it should not be cut out of the education system... actually it CAN'T be cut out otherwise everything else would be. I also spent a while on the background which once again was derived from another famous artists work, can you guess who it is? Well It is the work 'starry night' by Vincent Van Gogh. The main reason in which I decided to combine these two ideas was because I really admired them and thought it would be interesting if they were merged together, and this was the outcome, enjoy.
