Photo Description:
It talks about a social phenomenon: how the majority of the public view homosexual people and how they feel about them (faces around the circular canvas). They tend to think that homo people are disgusting, weird and don’t have the right to love, for example, people think they shouldn’t be able to get married (have no rings). I have used some haunting monster to represent how the people think and how this traps the homo people into this nightmare (green background which looks like a swirl and the red string which held on their neck). The weakness and hopelessness are emphasized to remind people how they feel they can’t antagonize it, and what they can only do is to stick together and try to support each other. I wish people could change their mind if they are the one who still discriminate and tease them.
