Honey

Honey
Photo Description:
This painting explores a different way of symbolism and hidden meanings. I was inspired by Sigmund Freud's patients work, when they expressed their thoughts and fears through art. Looking at the strange pieces of art produced, I myself wanted to portray life in quite different way. The honey represents both the highs of life, being the sweetness of honey and the lows of life, which is the stickiness. Although, the towel around her neck is protecting the rest of her body the honey has been poured down her face which represents having to take both highs and lows of life.
