The Wonderful Woodland World

The Wonderful Woodland World
Photo Description:
The Wonderful Woodland World Our topic for Autumn half term was ‘Forest Life’ We created this piece of artwork as part of our topic. We began by collecting leaves, sticks and pine cones from a forest walk. We looked for big leaves of different shades. We stuck the leaves onto card using P.V.A glue. We used acrylic paint, silver and bronze spray paint as well as silver glitter. We wanted to create a winter and snowy effect. We had so much fun creating this piece of artwork and even created poetry inspired by it. We love the different colours we created on the leaves as it showed us the different things you can find in the forest. What does the artwork mean to us? Ibrahem: It was about teamwork and creating a whole piece together. Sofiane: It was about expressing the beauty of forest life. Farah: It was about nature. Shajida: It explains how one piece of artwork can open a humongous file of beauty.
