Stairs

Stairs
Photo Description:
I really find this work by Vladimir Tatlin interesting because of the shape, how it looks, the movement and how it makes me feel like walking on it. After making my first untitled stairs, the Tatlin gave me some ideas on how to improve/develop my work. My stairs has 3 different viewing platforms and so does the Tatlin. Also the vertical lines and horizontal lines going through the piece are quite similar to my untitled stairs. I feel like it’s not similar to my untitled stairs because the lines(metals) going through the piece looks more like they are designed with it whereas mine looks more like the lines(sticks) are what is holding the piece in place. My discovery of the Tatlin was a really exciting thing for me.
