Ranelagh School is a Church of England secondary comprehensive school with Academy status having previously been a Specialist School for Art and Business Enterprise. The traditional red brick buildings, seamlessly standing beside newer additions, house not only an ‘outstanding’ educational institute but an enviable history of achievement and excellence.
At Ranelagh we are proud of our excellent reputation and strong sense of tradition. We focus on developing our students Fine Art drawing and painting skills. Our school aim is to provide a supportive, stimulating and secure environment. The quality of guidance and pastoral care given to pupils is outstanding, but every member of the school community is also encouraged to take responsibility for their learning; pupils thereby grow in confidence, resilience and independence.
To mark the 100 years on site, Ranelagh pupils and staff participated in a commemorative sponsored walk from the original site at Cranbourne Hall, Winkfield, to its present location. The walk raised £10,000 to support link schools in Africa.
