The Castle School The Castle School is a Secondary Academy School with Sports and Applied learning specialisms.
The pupils range in age from 11–16 with approximately 1,200 student on roll.

The school has an excellent reputation for Art, and recently received Arts Mark Gold Status, due to its commitment to providing valuable and wide ranging provision within The Arts.

Students have three GCSE options of study within Art & Design: Fine Art, Textiles and Photography.
