Wimbledon High School

London / United Kingdom

Wimbledon High School Wimbledon High is well-known as an academic school. It is a happy, purposeful community. We believe that girls should have the chance to engage in and shape all aspects of school life. We offer a huge range of enrichment opportunities and girls often come up with their own ideas - from fundraising initiatives to new clubs and societies.
In the Art Department, we teach students a broad range of techniques, in order to increase their visual vocabulary and allow them to express their ideas more fluently. Students are treated as individuals; they are encouraged to be observant, analytical and independent of thought. Fun is combined with hard work and students grow in self-confidence, gaining a great sense of achievement and a love of the subject. As a result their outcomes are ambitious, varied and personal.
