Everyday terror
Everyday terror
Photo Description:
My artwork is based on the London boming on 7/7. The theme of the piece is "News". I drew and painted a bus using water colour, and used photoshop to multiply it and arrange them in rows. Some of the buses are intact while others show different stages of explosion. I placed the exploded buses in random position within the work to show that people never know when the next terrorism attack might happen and the fear within each person does not dissapear. I printed out two versions of my work on tracing paper and superpose them to symbolize the infinite amount of terror attack possiblities that exist around us. I framed my work and smashed the glass to represent the scars that the London bombing left in people's minds and hearts.
