| Newstead Wood School For Girls
Newstead Wood School for Girls is a state school that is highly selective on the basis of verbal and non-verbal reasoning tests. We sit on the edge of a residential area in Orpington overlooking the Kent Downs, but because of our large catchment area (a 7.5 miles radius) our students are a representative sample of London’s young people, receiving a multi-ethnic education together. The school provides a cheerful, constructive atmosphere for working. There are specialist facilities for all subject areas, including science, DT, Art, Music and Drama.
