| School For Social Justice
We are one of four small schools operating out of the Little Village Lawndale High School campus. The school was made possible by a 19 day hunger strike staged by 14 community members to force the school system to build this community a decent high school. Our focus is on issues of Social Justice.We are in our third year of existence and have 290 students enrolled. The school population is 70% Latino and 30% African American.
