Villiers Primary School

Villiers Primary School is the largest primary school in Wolverhampton. The school provides approximately 540 full-time places for children aged 5-11 with a further 75+ part-time Nursery Class places available for children aged 3 and 4. Villiers is situated in Bilston, Wolverhampton and the majority of children are drawn from the Bilston North Ward of the town. The diverse nature of this ward ensures that the intake of the School covers a wide range of material and cultural backgrounds. In 2008 OFSTED said that 'Villiers is an Outstanding School. Pupils thrive in a happy community where everyone is valued.'
Children at Villiers enjoy a wide range of art experiences including painting, printing, sculpture and using digital technology as a creative medium. The success of the childrens artwork is celebrated in displays of childrens work all around the school and the local community. In 2008 the school received the prestigious Artsmark Gold award for the second time.
