St Mary\'s Carholic High School St Mary's Catholic High School is a secondary modern school in Chesterfield. Art is compulsory for all pupils in KS3 and every child has one hour a week to develop key art skills in drawing , painting, print and modelling. Students have the opportunity to study art at GCSE level to study art for two years in Y10 and Y11. They develop Fine Art skills by creating their own projects developing independent learning. In the sixth form students again opt to develop their creativity to the highest standard at A level. Drawing, painting, and printing skills are developed to the highest standard.
