Place of Bones
Place of Bones
Photo Description:
Wire, plaster of Paris, glass, plants, fabric, lamp. Height: 58cm Depth at widest part:35cm This is a hill of houses with nature confined to a small glass ball with a light inside. This art work is about nature fighting back to survive. The reason why the light shines in this piece is to show that nature will still live whatever it is reduced to. The pieces of cloth are like bandages protecting the newly growing nature. The houses are like bones turning back into nature.
