SCULPTURE PRIZE FOR SCHOOLS

* AN INTERNATIONAL ART PRIZE FOR SCHOOLCHILDREN UP TO AGE 18

Photo Description:
This is my sculpture that I have come up with after studying the works of Mathew Monahan and looking at the head sculptures of Buddha. The covered up mouth is influenced from the lines used in Mathew’s art works. The flower above the head represents a sign of peace, just like Buddha’s facial expression. I’ve tried to make the sculpture something unreal and different from the real world. This was done by exaggerating on the eyes, and adding the single horn to represent something inhuman.
