Three Large Leaves

I was inspired by nature, how new things spurt from the old. I made two leaves that where of a gold colour and one of a vibrant yellow which signifies new life. The gold leaves are almost flaking away from the yellow one, emphasizing that new life comes from the old. The leaves themselves where a task in themselves to make, however, i enjoyed the process immensely. And just to think that the beautiful movement that is created by the sculpture came from and idea, two large sheets of paper and lots of wire and imagination!
