Together with Christie's, the Saatchi Gallery is proud to present selected highlights from 100X HANDPICKED: an auction of 100 artworks offered in support of the Saatchi Gallery's free entry and education programme. Split between live and online auction platforms, these works exhibit some of today's most compelling artistic talent from the Saatchi Gallery's Collection.

With an unfaltering focus and dedication to new artists, the Saatchi Gallery has been at the forefront of the contemporary art world for the past 30 years. Opening at Boundary Road in 1985, the gallery hosted the first UK exhibitions of both Cy Twombly and Brice Marden. At subsequent locations in County Hall and Duke of York Square, the gallery has continued to present both British and international artists through its innovative exhibition programme. The Saatchi Collection's landmark exhibitions such as "Art of our Time" at the Royal Scottish Academy, "Sensation: Young British Artists at the Saatchi Gallery" at The Royal Academy, London, and "The Triumph of Painting" at Leeds City Art Gallery have shone a light on many of today's most influential contemporary artists, including Georg Baselitz, Damien Hirst and Peter Doig, among many others.

100 X HANDPICKED celebrates the Saatchi Gallery's 10-year anniversary at its current location in Duke of York Square. From its inaugural exhibition "The Revolution Continues: New Chinese Art" in 2008 to its most recent "Known Unknowns", the gallery space has continued to showcase emerging talent, pushing the boundaries of contemporary art and fostering a unique environment in which it can be enjoyed.
