In this the first European exhibition of Korean gold art, artist Kim Il Tae will showcase twenty of his unique canvas works, painted in pure 24 Carat gold.
Following years of research and experiments, Kim Il Tae has developed a unique technique of painting, sculpting and etching in 24 Carat gold on canvas.
Kim Il Tae's paintings are influenced by Oriental philosophy, the timeless clarity of gold Buddha statues and a profound meditation on the themes of love and compassion. Gold is associated with durability and preciousness, and also carries values of respect, purity, and happiness.
