Department and information about the department

Within ESC, the Reigate School of Art Design & Media maintains a strong tradition of producing outstanding results and positive personal success stories in its field.

These results couldn't be achieved without the comprehensive resources on offer at the College, from a purpose built 120 seat cinema and presentation suite to fully
equipped TV and recording studios; a photographic dark room to ceramic studio with pottery kilns. Three suites of Macintosh computers, 3D and printmaking workshops and much more.

Each subject is supported by the facilities and equipment which students need to develop their creative and professional potential.

Student Testimonials

Cindy Ellingham, National Diploma in Fine Art
‘I attended a hairdressing programme at ESC lasting three years. Working in a real salon environment really appealed to me, especially the team working environment. The course really built up my confidence in my own ability to work and learn.

I returned to college last year after having my daughter, which would not have been possible without the Little Owl nursery. I’m now studying Art, Design & Theatrical make -up, the course is an extension of Hair & Beauty as I do a lot of theatre make-up and body painting. The Art school is great for encouraging individual designs. After my course I am hoping to be a freelance media make up artist, so watch out for my work on your screens!’
