    Student Life

With a population of around 100,000, Worthing is a seaside resort and the largest town in West Sussex. Its diversity means it has something for everyone.

The town nestles between the coast of the English Channel and the natural beauty of the South Downs. This favourable geographical location, the town's proximity to London and its strong links with the nearby city of Brighton have all contributed to the thriving and bustling commercial centre that is Worthing today.

Worthing town centre is next to the seafront and is mostly pedestrianised, with a range of shops, pubs, clubs and restaurants. The beaches offer opportunities for watersports including windsurfing, kitesurfing and jet-skiing. Worthing also has several leisure centres and sports clubs.

    Nearby Brighton

Worthing is less than 25 minutes by rail or road from the vibrant city of Brighton. Brighton has a wealth of leisure and entertainment facilities with more bars and restaurants per capita than any other city in Britain. The annual Brighton Festival and Fringe Festival make the city a hub for innovative culture, theatre and art. During the summer, the beach front...  [ Read All ]
