Southport College

Southport College was formed in 1983 as a result of the merger of the School of Arts and Southport Technical College. The College operates from its main site near Southport town centre (Mornington Centre), a site in Formby, a site leased from Sefton Council in South Sefton and a rented site in Maghull as well as locations used just for the delivery of programmes.

The Mornington Centre campus is the hub of learning at Southport College containing Student Services, a well-equipped library, modern learning centre and Learndirect suite. The Learndirect suite is a modern, accessible facility with friendly, supportive staff on hand to help you. Learndirect courses introduce you to new skills. Whether you are a computer novice wanting to find out about sending email or you work with computers and need to improve your skills for employment by doing an ECDL, Learndirect could have the course for you.

Student Services exists to meet the needs of both potential students and current students. With a wide range of support available, the area is well-equipped and staffed by professional, dedicated staff.
