Student Testimonials

Richard Wilbourne, aged 23, enrolled on to the Foundation Studies in Art & Design programme at Swindon College when he was 18 years old. After completing this course, he went on to study for a BA (Hons) in Illustration here at Swindon College.

“On this course I learnt how to be really creative and I particulary enjoyed working on a project where we had to come up with illustrations and designs for four books which were of interest to ourselves” Richard commented.

After successfully completing his degree, Richard decided that he wanted a career in graphic design. In September 2006, he enrolled on to a HNC in Graphic Design and on to the new HNC in Photography. When Richard becomes a graphic designer, he hopes to combine his new design and photography skills with his expertise in illustration.

In the photograph above, Richard is standing next to the photos that he took for his first project on the HNC photography course.
