In 2008 she won an Award of Excellence from the portrait Society of America, 2011 best of show from Salmagundi Club in New York and also in 2011 two honorable mentions from the Portrait Society of America.
Richard Scarborough; has worn a number of professional hats, but woodworking has been an ongoing passion. Starting in a family woodshop in rural Virginia to having the privilege of living in a log cabin in the Santa Monica Mountains where wood is a constant presence where he discovered his first burnt and crusted Ceanothus Rootball. Eventually turning into a beautiful wood burl with intricate growth forms.
This led to an active pursuit of learning more about local wood species and the mysterious beauty of their hidden forms. He is engaged in urban forestry, saving trees from the dump and destruction.

Carol Slade; Is a California based artist whose luminous mixed media paintings are alive with color. She works on paper, canvas, and wood. There is a dynamic energy to her work. Layer upon layer, each of which reveals a hint of what came before and what is to come next. Her work is spontaneous and abstract, yet includes collaged images of both words and objects which strongly anchor it in the familiar. Her work is in many collections, has garnered multiple juried awards, and has been published, most recently in the book In This House: A Collection of Altered Art Imagery and Collage Techniques.

Alistair Stevenson; Self-taught furniture maker/designer born in Scotland, 1951. His first furniture was sold in 1981 which launched his woodworking career, opening a cabinet shop “Fine Line Designs” in London, UK. Relocated to Cornwall in 1986 where his work was being sold internationally. After moving to the States he returned with more enthusiasm and passion for working in wood, creating work in an organic manner with no idea about the end result but allowing the form of the wood to guide the way. His work reflects simplicity of form and attention to detail, expressing his sense of beauty and fun while challenging his inherent and developed skills.
