Facilities - Neue Galerie New York

The ground floor of the Neue Galerie houses the museum’s amenities, including the Book Store, the Design Shop, and Café Sabarsky. The Neue Galerie Book Store is unique in the United States, specializing in fine art, architecture, decorative arts and literature from Germany, Austria, and related Central European cultures. The museum’s Design Shop offers objects based on original designs by artists in the museum’s collection. These include jewelry, tableware, and other items rendered in fine materials such as sterling silver, crystal, and porcelain. Café Sabarsky draws its inspiration from the great Viennese cafés that served as important centers of fin-de-siècle intellectual and artistic life. It is furnished with objects designed by Josef Hoffmann and Adolf Loos, among others, and serves authentic Viennese cuisine, including the special coffees for which Vienna is known.

A complementary coat check is in operation during the regular opening hours on the ground floor. The Neue Galerie cannot be held responsible for damage to fragile property.

Cameras of any kind are not permitted in the Neue Galerie.
