Q: Are baby strollers permitted in the Museum?
A: Baby Strollers monitored by adult are permitted in all venues, but only on the ground floor of the Cà d’Zan mansion.

Q: Is photography permitted in the Museum?
A: The use of photography (cameras, video equipment) is permitted without a flash indoors, and freely outdoors. Tripods are not permitted anywhere in the Museum. For private and/or commercial photo shoots, contact 941.359.5700 x5703.

Q: Is there a coatroom?
A: A coatroom is not available.

Q. Are visitors permitted to sketch the Museum?
A. Pencils, sketchbooks, and notebooks are permitted inside the venues as well as on the grounds. However pens, paints, clay and easels are only permitted on the grounds (not permitted in the Courtyard).

Q: Is there a place to eat in the Museum?
A: Treviso, offering fine Italian fare, is located in the Visitors Pavilion. Call 941-360-7309 for additional information and reservations. The Banyan Café is located on the beautiful grounds of the Ringling Museum and offers a variety of family friendly fare in a cafeteria setting. The Banyan is open 11 AM – 4 PM May through October, 11 AM – 5 PM November through April. Call (941) 359-3183 for additional information.

Q: Is my ticket good for more than one day?
A: Your Museum ticket is good for one day only. Become a member and enjoy the Museum for free all year long.

Q. If I only want to see one venue do I have to pay for all four?
A. Tickets to the Museum include a self guided experience in all four venues. All four venues are “must see” and we recommend you plan to spend an entire day with us. If you would like more flexibility, we recommend you become a Museum Member and enjoy free admission all year long.

Q: What is valid ID?
A: Florida students: school issued ID or a school library card.
Florida teachers: school issued ID or recent pay stub.
Members: Museum issued membership card and drivers license.

Q. If I am a member, do I need my ID card?
A. For your convenience, we recommend all members present a Museum-issued Membership card. If no card is available, your number can be retrieved by presenting a drivers license.
