The Auckland Art Gallery Education Programmes respond to the Gallery’s permanent collections and temporary exhibitions with curriculum focused programmes. Gallery programmes respond to the New Zealand curriculum to encourage cross-curricular links and build key skills.

Please contact Christine Wildman: 09 307 7728 or email for more information.

Guided tours are available for groups.

The Ministry of Education supports our programmes, which combine an encounter with works of art followed by a practical workshop in our ArtStudio. The programmes assist teachers in delivering the curriculum by providing learning experiences in the unique environment provided by the gallery and its displays.
