The Centro de Arte Museo de Almería (CAMA) is situated in a Neo-Mudéjar style building reminiscent of railway stations and constructed in 1927. The Museum houses a splendid collection of contemporary art organised into various thematic exhibitions. It also houses temporary exhibitions of contemporary art.

The exhibition ‘Seguir Vivo’ is a compilation of works created by the pair of Italian video-artists Masbedo (Niccoló Massazza and Jacopo Bedogni) together with French author Michel Houellebecq. It studies the relationship between literature and video-art as well as showing the world of Houellebecq in two and three dimensions (through video installations) and multimedia.
