Musée Archéologique

The museum houses prehistoric, Gallo-Roman, and Merovingian artifacts from the city and province of Namur and a collection of cut stones. There is a copy of a map in relief of the city of Namur (Larcher d'Aubancourt, 1747) that allows viewers to discover the citadel of Namur.

Currently, there is a plan to transfer the site of the museum to the old Ecole des Bateliers, but in the meantime the museum remains in its current location at the old Halle des Bouchers, 1588.

Due to the construction, the room of Merovingian artifacts is not accessible at this time.
