National Waterfront Museum

The National Waterfront Museum tells the story of how industry and innovation have affected the lives of people in Wales over the last 300 years. The latest interactive multi-media technology, mixed with real, everyday objects help bring the Industrial Revolution to life. You can also look into the future and discover how Wales is breaking new ground. The striking building is situated in the heart of Swansea’s Maritime quarter.

The Museum has a series of themed exhibition zones, many interactive displays as well as interesting objects. We also have events, activities and temporary exhibitions throughout the year. Our own reference library and photographic collection are available for research by appointment. There are gallery and room spaces available for hire.
