The Museum Of Contemporary Art Mexico (MAC8)
The Museum of Contemporary Art of Aguascalientes, inaugurated on april 14th, 1991, opened its doors with a very important collection consisting in the works awarded in the National Contest of Young Art supported by the National Institute of Fine Arts, Cultural Institute of Aguascalientes and the Patronage of the San Marcos International Fair. The Museum has a room dedicated to Enrique Guzm├ín Villag├│mez (1952-1986) who was an important figure in contemporary plastic.
Artists and investigators who wish to know the artistic production of the last 30 years in Mexico, can find in this space the best source of information; besides the plastic heap, the Museum counts with the most important Library of the Arts in this region.

In the Museum Activities Program you can find free specialized lectures, round tables with various personalities, books presentations, concerts, etc.
The Museum has specialized personal, programs and material to assist groups from Pre-school to University level.
The Museum├é┬┤s Library of the Arts is one of the most important in this part of the country. It has more than 5,000 volumes about all branches of Art History.
All artistic tendencies, artist├é┬┤s biographies and critics can be widely consulted in this facility.
