Art Mail: The Exhibition

Art Mail brings together thousands of watercolour-painted postcards created by artists around the world, celebrating the simple act of making and sharing art. Presented at Saatchi Gallery, the exhibition offers a collective snapshot of creativity, showcasing thousands of postcards shared by artists from over 40 countries. 

 

From birds, botanicals and celestial objects to architecture, abstract designs, pets and imagined worlds, the postcards reveal the diverse ways people see and interpret the world around them. Together, they demonstrate how a small artwork can connect people and places across borders. 

 

The project features contributions from artists including Andrew Carter, Arden Rose, Giles Deacon, Heather Phillipson, Jane Hayes Greenwood, Julie Green, Ken Nwadiogbu, Laxmi Hussain, Mark Titchner, Peter McDonald, Richard Woods and Susie Hamilton, alongside thousands of artists from across the globe. 

 

Following the exhibition, a selection of postcards will be auctioned to raise funds for Hospital Rooms.
