These seven compelling works were created as part of the Identity Project by Level 3 Extended Diploma students at New City College Ardleigh Green.

This project invited students to explore the concept of identity – examining what it means personally, socially, and culturally. Through a diverse range of approaches, materials, and perspectives, each artist has investigated how identity is shaped by experience, memory, heritage, community, belief, and self-perception.

The works presented here reflect thoughtful research, experimentation, and critical reflection. Together, they form a dynamic exploration of how identity can be expressed, questioned, reconstructed, and celebrated. While each piece stands as an individual response, collectively they offer a powerful insight into how emerging artists interpret who they are and how they are seen by others.
