SAATCHI GALLERY REVEALS RHS CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW 2022 GARDEN INSTALLATION WITH INTERNATIONALLY ACCLAIMED LONDON-BORN ARTIST ANTHONY JAMES  Saatchi Gallery selects British multimedia visual artist Anthony James to present an installation at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2022 (24-28 May) at stand number RHW281    Visitors are invited to explore three light sculptures, one over 2 and half metres tall, created using algorithms to emulate natural crystal formations  The garden is designed as an immersive shaded sanctuary, with the sculptures hypnotic light framed beneath trees and hedges, providing a calming and contemplative escape

A new selection of international artists & photographers showcase global flora this spring

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and Saatchi Gallery continue their partnership and will present the 2022 RHS Botanical Art and Photography Show this April. Following the success of the 2021 edition, the annual exhibition will return this Spring and will showcase new work from leading botanical artists and photographers across three galleries. Entries for the show have been through a meticulous pre-selection process, where the scientific accuracy, technical skill and aesthetic appeal of the work is reviewed by an expert judging panel prior to the show opening, with artists and photographers awarded RHS Gold, Silver-Gilt, Silver and Bronze medals, as well as a series of special awards including ‘Best Botanical Art Exhibit’ and ‘Judge’s Special Award’.

Bob Marley: One Love Experience

The Marley family, in conjunction with Terrapin Station Entertainment, today announced that the Bob Marley One Love Experience will make its global debut this February at London’s iconic Saatchi Gallery for a limited ten-week exhibition before embarking on a multi-city tour. This unique experience will showcase unseen Marley photographs and memorabilia whilst immersing audiences on a journey through his lifestyle, passions, influences, and enduring legacy. Venture through the One Love Forest, visit the Soul Shakedown Studio and delve into the multi-sensory experience celebrating one of the world’s most beloved and unifying musical and cultural figures in this unique exhibition.

AMERICA IN CRISIS

Curated by Sophie Wright, Gregory Harris from Atlanta’s High Museum of Art, and LA-based photographer and academic Tara Pixley.

America in Crisis will bring together 40 leading American photographers and over 120 works exploring social change in the U.S from the 1960s till today. Organised by Saatchi Gallery, the exhibition is curated by Sophie Wright, Gregory Harris from Atlanta’s High Museum of Art, and LA-based photographer and academic Tara Pixley. America in Crisis was a ground-breaking group initiative originally conceived in 1969 to assess the state of the nation. This Magnum Photos project was led by American photographer Charles Harbutt and Lee Jones, then Magnum’s New York bureau chief.

LG presents Light Gallery ‘Media art; reinterpreted time’

In collaboration with LG

LG presents Media art; reinterpreted time in collaboration with London’s iconic Saatchi Gallery. The free-entry exhibition showcases LG OLED Art, which reinterprets the concept of time in contemporary art through newly commissioned works by emerging artists. Each represents different core themes embedded within time; resistance, infinity, mortality and nature. The emerging artists include Luke Stephenson, JEBAAK and Ruofan Chen.

London Grads Now. 21

Saatchi Gallery Dedicates Major Exhibition to MA Graduates from London’s Leading Art Programmes for Upcoming London Grads Now. 21 Exhibition Following the success of London Grads Now. in 2020, Saatchi Gallery announces London Grads Now. 21 opening from November 4 through to January 16, 2022. This second edition aims to support and highlight the emerging artists of today and will feature over 200 artworks created and curated by MA graduates from seven of London’s leading art schools.

Halo “Master Piece” unveiled in Saatchi Gallery to celebrate launch of Halo Infinite

Artwork by acclaimed artist Iva Troj and exhibited at Saatchi Gallery from December 8th - 15th

To mark the launch of Halo Infinite, the latest installment in the iconic video game franchise, an original epic, large-scale oil painting was unveiled today at Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea. Created by Iva Troj, the Brighton-based 2016 Palm Award Winner and 2019 CAF Artist Of The Year, the 6m x 3m canvas depicts in minute detail a scene inspired by Halo Infinite. The scene shows franchise protagonist, The Master Chief, locked in battle with his alien enemy: the spark of rebellion in the center of the painting ignites scores of battles nearby, as the Chief inspires the marines around him to become heroes.

Journeys: The Healing Arts

In partnership with Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (CW+)

Saatchi Gallery and CW+, the charity of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, have partnered to present a first-of-its-kind ‘Arts in Health’ exhibition at the gallery. Journeys: The Healing Arts, is a selection of bespoke artworks from the CW+ art collection, commissioned to enhance the environment and improve patient outcomes at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. This is the first time CW+ has exhibited artworks from its collection on this scale to a wider public within a gallery setting.

Yours to Make: Fluid Imaginarium

On 4 November, in collaboration with 50 of the UK’s most exciting creators, and HERVISIONS, Instagram will unveil a first of its kind digital portrait of British youth culture at Saatchi Gallery. It will be open to the public until 9 November 2021 and will bring to life the cultural diversity and lived-experience of British Gen Z today, as expressed on Instagram Reels. The motion art installation, called ‘Yours to Make: Fluid Imaginarium‘, has been produced using gaming technology and is an experimental artwork reflecting the fluidity of British youth. The viewer is taken through various immersive dimensions that follow the different guises of youth self-expression.
