Boredom-busting art and activities inspired by our current major exhibition, BEYOND THE STREETS. Explore the exhibition, and then let your creative juices flow with this series of accompanying Saturday workshops. Suitable for children of all ages and led by Saatchi Gallery’s Learning team.
You do not need a ticket to BEYOND THE STREETS to attend, however you can visit the exhibition on the same day by booking a ticket in advance here.
28 November – Stencil It!
Discover the art of stencilling and experiment with different materials, shapes and layering techniques to create your own street art-inspired designs.
5 December – Graffiti Letter Lab
Get creative with graffiti lettering. Experiment with 3D effects, shading, outlines and colour to design bold letters in your own style.
12 December – Printmaking
Experiment with tape and mono-printing techniques to create unique prints, taking inspiration from street artists like Alicia McCarthy.
19 December – Poetry Word Play
Play with words to create your own collaged poems. Try blackout poetry, painting on text, cut-out poetry and rearranging words in unexpected ways.
