Artwork by acclaimed artist Iva Troj and exhibited at Saatchi Gallery from December 8th - 15th
To mark the launch of Halo Infinite, the latest installment in the iconic video game franchise, an original epic, large-scale oil painting was unveiled today at Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea. Created by Iva Troj, the Brighton-based 2016 Palm Award Winner and 2019 CAF Artist Of The Year, the 6m x 3m canvas depicts in minute detail a scene inspired by Halo Infinite. The scene shows franchise protagonist, The Master Chief, locked in battle with his alien enemy: the spark of rebellion in the center of the painting ignites scores of battles nearby, as the Chief inspires the marines around him to become heroes.

Saatchi Gallery will open an exhibition of works by Helen Bur in one of its main gallery spaces on Friday 12 November 2021. The exhibition will be open to the public from 12 November to 5 December 2021 with free admission.
In this new body of works by British artist Helen Bur, painted figures are captured in moments of quiet action, self-reflection and stillness. Obscured in the pause of a gesture and imbued with a sense of the surreal, Bur sensitively depicts those around her as fragments of the bigger picture. Internal dialogues become social narratives and the personal becomes global.

Saatchi Gallery will open an exhibition of works by Cedar Lewisohn in one of its main gallery spaces on 29 October 2021. The exhibition will be open to the public from 29 October to 28 November with free admission.
The Thousand Year Kingdom features a series of large scale woodblock prints primarily made throughout 2013; a group of works that have not previously been shown together. These prints combine images relating to African and Mesopotamian objects from museum collections in the UK and Europe with recognisable details and depictions of contemporary life. The works are the antecedent to much of the visual language that Lewisohn’s current practice focuses on. The brutal yet delicate method of production plays with the idea of “primitivism” and the connotations of labelling artworks as primitive. In these works, images are repeated, and new contexts and meanings are created with the addition or subtraction of colours or abstract landscapes.
